Privacy policy

Last updated: 05 Nov 2026

United Tyres ("we") runs this website to help fleet owners record their vehicles and tyre changes, and to supply tyres, retreading and scrap-tyre pickup. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Why we use it

Who sees it

Only you and authorised United Tyres staff can see your fleet details. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your name, phone number, firm or vehicle registration numbers with tyre manufacturers, distributors or anyone else. We may share aggregated, non-identifying statistics (for example "about 2,400 tyres a year in size 295/80R22.5 across our network") with suppliers to negotiate prices. We will disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you remove a vehicle it is archived, not erased, so your tyre history stays complete; you can ask us to erase it permanently. If you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except records we must keep by law (such as tax invoices). Website enquiries that do not lead to an account or an order are deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

You can download your fleet data at any time from your account. You can ask us to correct or erase your data, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us below. Withdrawing consent means we can no longer provide the Fleet Book to you.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed; the site is served over HTTPS; access to your data is limited to your account and our authorised staff.
